William Strand is a 2025 SS/C, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Centennial. Medium frame. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.75 seconds. Primary infielder, showed the ability to make the routine plays, moved well laterally for his size. Consistently made accurate throws across the diamond, was clocked up to 76 mph. Took some reps at first base, displayed a quick transfer working through the ball with stiff hands. Also worked out behind the dish, has a high side saddle set up, displayed a quick transfer staying still on throws down to second base, clocked a 2.11 pop time. At the plate, hits from a narrow open stance with a tow tap trigger. Displayed a linear path with good bat speed, consistently swinging the bat with good intent driving the ball on a line to his pull side. Excellent student.
