2022 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Ramon Nicolas Chavez is a 2025 RHP/C with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Camano Island, WA who attends Archbishop Murphy. Compact, wiry frame with athletic traits in the build. Ran a 8.83 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, works from a short arm stroke and three-quarter slot. Showed feel for a fastball and curveball that can develop as he adds strength. Right-handed hitter, open stance and narrow base. Shows developing bat speed with feel for the barrel to all fields. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
