Justin Umares is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Antioch, TN who attends Antioch. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran an 8.43 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic mover and shows good lateral actions, softer hands and funnels the ball well, easy release, developing accuracy but played well on the dirt in game. Also pitches, plays with pace, medium arm stroke and falls off glove side some, high slot and up to 68 with the fastball. Right-handed hitter, easy swing with some length through the zone, under control and produces liners to the middle, projects well as he adds strength.
