Bobby Arnold III is a 2028 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Haymaket, VA who attends Battlefield. Medium, high waisted frame with plenty of room and time to physically mature. Recorded a 7.45 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Comes and gets the baseball with good pace, fields properly off his front foot and gathers cleanly into transition. Shuffles into release, works into a full arm action and has developing arm speed. Recorded throws up to 71 mph during drills. Secondary left-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with small side-step rocker into belt high leg lift. Incorporates drop-and-drive lower half mechanics and slight lean back down the slope before working into a clean three-quarters arm slot. Fastball worked mostly in the upper-60s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 71 mph in this look. Simple, repeatable operation with low-effort release. Pitches to contact, displayed some natural arm-side run to the fastball and mixed in 1-7 shaped curveball with gradual depth as go-to secondary. Will continue to expand overall repertoire with additional velocity and addition of third pitch. Left-handed hitter that hits from a bent-knee, even stance with a tight hand set, low back elbow and inward toe-tap trigger. Contact oriented stroke with short, downhill swing path and good bat-to-ball skills. Mostly pullside impact with occasional line drives to the right-side, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Developing, young prospect with physical upside on both sides of the baseball, will continue to expand overall tools with refinements mechanically and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
