Dylan Leadbetter is a 2025 C/UT with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Myersville, MD who attends Middletown. Solid athletic frame with more to come at his young age. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Primary position C starting with an overly wide and offset stance from behind the plate. Showed fairly refined foot work and solid transfer to release on throws. Put himself in good position to make accurate throws to 2B usually in the 2.20 range for his pop times. Right handed hitter with a wide, balanced stance and a significant bat waggle to create rhythm to his swing. Displayed some twitch as he moved forward to foot strike and aggressively attacked pitches. Short stride and inside the ball with some length in his path to contact as he used the middle of the field. Will drive the ball with even more consistency as he works through some timing issues up the line. Tools will play as refinement in overall game happens in the next couple years.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
