Jacob "Jake" McCord is a 2024 MIF/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Seymour, TN who attends Seymour Senior. Recorded a 7.50 second 60-yard dash time. Primary middle infielder with a medium frame and lean build. Quick first step with solid hands to both sides. Lateral range with ability to drop the arm slot on the move with accuracy. Throws across the diamond at 77 mph. Worked through the ball in the outfield with one-hand gather and inline momentum on throws to the bases at 80 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a lower 3/4 arm slot delivery. Ran the fastball up to 76 mph (2045 RPM) and curveball at 61 mph (2134 RPM). Pitched on both days with increased velocity on day two and control of the zone each outing. Right-handed hitter with an even base and athletic look in the box. Weight shift to backside with knee-lift trigger and middle-field approach. Feel for the barrel with developing impact as he adds size to frame. Excellent student.
