Mekhi Jones is a 2026 SS/2B with a 6-1 140 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Blue Ridge Christian. Long and lean build with plenty of projection for the future. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.40 seconds. A primary SS who showed smooth and fluid actions as well as soft hands to both sides of his body. He also showed fundamentally sound footwork that synced up well with his hands. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 67 mph. At the plate, he hits out of a square and balanced stance and has a short and compact swing. Middle of the field approach with a flat bat path through the zone.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
