Hunter Edwards is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-8 163 lb. frame from Dover, OH who attends Dover. He ran a 7.63 second sixty. Primary catcher with a medium build. Behind the plate he showed some young actions starting in a side straddle stance and receiving the ball well. Does a nice job gaining ground into the throws getting to a taller throwing position with developing arm strength on the throws recording a 2.37 seconds sixty. On the infield he funnels the ball in cleanly with some feel for the glove action before gathering as eh gains ground toward the target with a longer transfer showing developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base striding out to a wider launching point. The bat works on a compact path through the hitting zone with a rotational upper half as he gets through contact with young feel for the barrel. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
