Nate Mizelle is a 2026 C/RHP/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Garner Magnet. Young athletic build with lots of physical projection. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, much better game actions that drill actions, has mature game actions and receives the ball very cleanly and easily, anticipates well, handled high velocity and high spin well, has good arm strength for his age. Also worked out in the infield and showed his lower half athleticism well. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with good hand action to drive his swing, has barrel accuracy and can make swing adjustments, swings hard and creates some bat speed with more to come, stays behind the ball and can go opposite field with intent. Took a turn on the mound, has a high energy delivery with lots of check points, compact catcher's arm stroke, still developing consistency in his release point. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, velocity plays up with deception, gets good sinking action. Showed nice spin on his curveball when on top of the pitch, also showed some feel for a change up. Good athlete with baseball skills who will keep improving. Very good student. Named to the Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
