Giovanni Romano is a 2028 3B/MIF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Morristown, NJ. Romano works from a young build with additional room to physically develop and fill out in the future as a '28 prospect. As a primary IF, he displayed a clean gather with controlled actions to ultimately top out at 62 mph across the diamond. Expect the footwork to refine and arm strength to increase as Romano continues to bulk up. On the offensive end, the left handed hitter utilized a compact hand set with hover present to the leg trigger, flashing intent to create lift in the bat path with contact to all parts of the field. Expect more consistent impact as barrel control improves. Posted an exit velo of 63 mph. Ran a 8.73 sixty yard dash.
