2004 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Hellberg is a 2005 OF from Chesterbrook, PA with a solid 5'11"/170 pound frame. He has a short compact LH stroke which produces lots of bat speed. He has good bat control and the ability to spray line drives to all fields with good power potential. He showed a strong throwing arm topping out at 84 mph with excellent carry and accuracy. He has above average range and a solid glove. He is a good athlete, and he ran a 7.21 in the 60. Good all around player! Alex is a very good student.
