Malosi Mata'afa-Alferos is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Ewa Beach, HI who attends Mililani. Medium, athletic build with strength in the frame with more to project on. Primary shortstop, athletic actions with tons of range to both sides and an easiness to the movements, clean funnel out front and the hands work extremely well, mid body exchange with ability to change arm slots, ball jumps out of the hand with carry across and huge arm strength, recorded throws up to 95 mph. Left-handed hitter, medium and even base with a slightly open front side and the hands set high, heel lift trigger, easy bat speed and ability to extended, line drive approach and ability to drive the baseball to all fields. Will continue to grow into power, projects really nicely and performed well in game action. Tremendous student. Named to 2023 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
