Owen Ehrenkranz is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Short Hills, NJ who attends Gill St Bernard's. Tall lean frame. On the mound, he works with a big counter rotating leg kick to a big closed landing. Has the arm speed and athleticism to repeat delivery and cross fire three-quarters release. Fastball shows quality arm side run and was spotted to the gloveside. Command waivered mid way through but was able to make an adjustment and get it back on track. Varied the tilt and length of the slider and was able to work it off the plate away for whiffs. Flashed a straight changeup gloveside for a strike. Solid outing. Defensively, has feel for the rhythm of things in the outfiled with decent footwork and clean arm action that produced downhill throws that were accurate to both bases. At the plate, he sets up with moderate base working it into a deep load. The hands are quick to deliver the barrel to impact. The linear approach works through the big part of the field. 7.67 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
