2021 South Prospect Showcase
Connor McGilvray is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Allen. Medium build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.83 seconds. A primary RHP, he throws from a high arm slot with a medium arm circle and his FB topped out at 76 mph. The heater showed tail and sinking action. His CB had deep 12/6 shape and he's still developing a feel for throwing it for a strike. In the OF his top throw was clocked at 75 mph while in the INF he topped out at 78 mph. On the offensive side of the baseball he hit out of a narrow stance with a high back elbow setup. He showed a flat bat path through the zone as well.
