Eddie Pineiro Jr. is a 2027 OF/RHP/C with a 5-5 156 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ. Compact build. Worked out from three spots. Behind the plate, he stays low post reception gaining positive ground with quick stroke and release from the ear. Accurate at times. 2.07 pop. In the infield, he shows feel to attack the correct hop, presents the pocket early and funnels well when working to his gloveside. Creates angles to the target working in either direction. In the outifled, he charges with pace, fielding out front and carrying momentum well into the throw. Release can get a touch uphill at times but that should diminish as he adds strength. Left-handed hitter, starts from a wide base with hands high. Stays inside the ball well to contact and works direct with knob. Outperformed his batting practice session in game play with 3 barrels in as many at-bats on Saturday. On the hill, its a stretch only operation with quality arm side run to the fastball. Loaded up the zone with both the fastball and the breaking ball in his brief apperance. 7.62 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
