2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Caleb Turner is a 2026 RHP/C with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Christian Life Preparatory School. Strong athletic build. Works from a closed crouched over stretch position, fast paced multi-part delivery with a deep fast arm plunge in back, deceptive mechanics. Fastball worked in the mid 80's and topped out 87 mph, gets nice running action and threw a good number of strikes with his fastball. Threw a slurvy slider as his breaking ball, tends to spin off on release on this pitch and loose direction. Rare change up. Present reliever profile, will need to improve his secondary pitches to take the next step. Plays catcher when not on the mound, makes soft accurate throws with a downhill release and a short stride into his throws. Right handed hitter, moves into contact well and gets to his front side, stays pretty short and direct to the ball, mostly mid field line drive contact, creates some back spin at times. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
