Jimmy Burpoe is a 2025 SS/MIF, UT with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Aldie, VA who attends Lightridge High School. Medium, well-proportioned frame with strong lower half and plenty of time to physically mature. Recorded a 4.00 second thirty-yard dash time. Primary infielder that works downhill through the baseball with proper footwork throughout, displayed a clean funnel and plenty of lateral range to either side. Showed ability to change arm slots when necessary and recorded developing arm strength up to 82 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Simple, repeatable stroke with slight downhill swing path, some feel for the barrel and present hand speed. Mostly middle-of-the field intent with some impact through the gaps, will continue to expand power potential as he physically matures. Fundamentally sound prospect with some offensive upside as he makes proper swing adjustments and adds strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
