Jackson Acree is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-5 165 lb. frame from Hastings On Hudson, NY who attends Hastings. Long, lanky frame with a high waist, long levers and plenty of projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates high, quick and coiled leg lift into balance, while using drop-and-drive lower half mechanics down the slope. Creates some deception due to slight cross-bodied landing and lots of moving parts coming at the hitter. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 77 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Showcased developing command of the strike zone that will improve with proper front side adjustments and additional refinements mechanically. Mixed in 11-5 shaped breaking ball that varied in shape from time-to-time, but showed promise when thrown with conviction to dictate more a slider type movement. Immensely projectable frame with tons of upside remaining, will continue to improve with mentioned refinements mechanically and additional velocity. Good Student.
