Davis Perkins is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Lean, athletic frame with some definition to his upper half. Infielder, very impressive showing. Quicker actions with good zip out of hand. Manipulates slots on the move and fits the part on the dirt. Right-handed pitcher, quick high three-quarter delivery and short stride down the mound. Loose, short arm circle through the back. Good extension off his fastball creates life and missed bats. Slider has traits of a real impressive secondary, sharp late tail and firm horizontal shape from the same tunnel. Big upside. Right-handed hitter, upright stance and even base with left leg trigger. Solid extension from a cleaner path to contact. Stayed through the middle well and can develop more intent as he fills out. Upside both ways. Named to Top Prospect list. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
