CJ Campbell is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Lafayette. Campbell works from a medium compact build with additional room to add strength and fill out. Immediately showcased present athleticism by posting a 6.90 sixty yard dash. Primary IF, displayed good lateral range with clean backhands and feel for internal clock. Ability to change slots when needed with smooth transfers, ultimately topping out at 79 mph across the diamond. Worked from the stretch on the mound, showcased lower leg lift into balance while releasing from a 3/4 slot. Repeated the operation well and pounded the zone for strikes. Offensively, the switch hitter utilized a double toe tap trigger from the right side with a direct path through the zone and evident strength in the hands. He started from a wider base in the left box with present bat speed to generate consistent impact to the middle/pull side of the field. Posted an exit velo of 82 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
