Kevin Martínez is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Mayagüez, PR who attends Colegio Eugenio Maria de Hostos. Recorded a 7.46 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room to add strength. Primary shortstop with a shorter arm action and a tight arm slot. Has some feel for the position with good footwork and timing. Throws recorded up to 76 mph across the diamond. Switch hitter with an even and open stance with a lower hand set and some whip to the swing. Gap to gap approach and works on a line. Flatter barrel path with some bat to ball skills and can spray contact all over the field. Great student. Named to the SS East TP List.
