Travis Burkhalter is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Nacogdoches, TX who attends Garrison. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 7.63 runner in the sixty/ Primary middle infielder on defense, has active feet moving to the ball and gets behind it well, clean funnel out front, makes accurate throws with some arm strength and carry for his age. Right handed hitter, has an upper body rotational swing, limited lower half use at present, has some quickness to his hands and generates some young bat speed, line drive swing plane with some separation out front, uses the whole field. Also pitched, big side step start, long arm takeaway in back with a high 3/4's arm slot, quiet and well controlled delivery. Fastball worked consistently in the low 70's, did a good job working downhill to the bottom of the zone. Didn't show a secondary pitch. Very good student.
