Santino Garcia is a 2027 C/RHP, OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Hillcrest high school Rverside. Features a medium frame with a lean build and longer limbs. Ran a 8.23 60-yd dash. In the OF, he showed an aggressive approach where he worked through the baseball with some quickness. Used a smaller crow hop to initiate his throwing motion where he has a shorter arm action with uphill shoulders that produce higher arcing accurate throws that comes out with avg. strength. Behind the plate, he segmented his exchange/footwork. Caught the ball away from his body with an avg. exchange and kept his AA short. Gains good ground towards 2B. At the plate, he sits in a narrow stance where he holds a flatter bat at launch. He uses a smaller leg lift trigger as his hands stay neutral. Dips the back shoulder a bit and dragged the bat at times. Showed an uphill bat path. Trouble with being late at times but impacted a couple solid flyballs into CF. On the mound, he side steps into a mid chest knee tuck. Works slower down the mound with a smaller sit in his backleg. His arm action is shorter out the glove and works to a normal ¾ slot w/ avg. armspeed. His fastball was up to 67 and mixed in a developing mid 50s breaking ball he flipped in for strikes.
