Gregory Blayne Richardson is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Hendersonville, TN who attends Goodpasture Christian. Medium frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 8.90 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step as he works into the baseball. Young footwork present as he gathers out front. Full arm swing as he released with a lot of moving parts. Threw it 67 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a higher leg lift out of the windup. Hanging leg lift at times as he coils up at the top. Works downhill sporting a medium arm circle to a higher slot release. Direct to dish and proved he could fill up the zone. Went to the fastball early and often while topping out at 65 mph. Also mixed in a vertical breaking ball in the mid-50's. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with pinched knees and very narrow. Bigger stride in as he lands balanced before flashing a linear cut. Proved he could get extended and find the barrel. Will make big strides with a strength gain as the swing is mechanical sound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
