Karson Bowers is a 2026 C/RHP, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-11 158 lb. frame from Lawrence, KS who attends Lawrence Free State. Recorded a 8.63 sixty-yard dash at the event. Taller frame with lots of room to fill out and grow. The primary catcher displayed a low arm slot out of the chute with a wide base catching. Showed a slower transfer and awkward setup behind the dish, will benefit from being more balanced and more explosive low out of the crouch. The secondary infielder showed average footwork on the infield with accuracy on his throws across the infield. Some choppy actions moving to the ball with a stop and go approach. The right-handed pitcher threw on the mound with a large rocker step into a leaned back windup. Tall setup on the mound with high hand as he comes set out of the stretch. The fast ball was inconsistent around the zone, hitting a few batters during the game portion. Also had heavy arm side run to the inner half of the plate, getting a few outs during his time on the mound pounding the fast ball in on the hands of right-handed hitters. During BP, he had a wide base with a slower load looking to time up the pitch as it was crossing home plate. Longer stride which looked like it might have caused timing issues and some inconsistent movements. Pull side approach with some swing and miss tendencies currently. Will improve as the hand eye coordination continues develop and becomes more confident in his abilities. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
