Isaiah Welch is a 2025 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Sumner High School. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, long strider with good range to both sides, fields well to the backhand, arm works well with projectable arm strength, clean fundamental actions with athleticism that projects well defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, has a long and extended swing, can be late getting the barrel out, will continue to improve as a hitter with additional strength and some adjustments. Good student.
