Luke Kemp is a 2025 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Wall, TX who attends Wall High School. Posted a 6.82 in the 60 yard dash. Primary OF, overall advanced actions for his class. Present arm strength with significant carry on the bag. Smooth actions with easy range and light footwork, quality awareness and feel for the position. Athletic upside playing infield, the arm works here as well with soft glove skill on both sides and body control. On the mound the right-hander topped the fastball at 82 and did well mixing a tight CB with a 12/6 shape and depth in the zone. Worked simply and attacked hitters. Very versatile showing and well-rounded tools with plenty more to come. He swings it well from the right-side, even base that launches on time and has good looseness in the swing. Does a good job producing leverage with carry up the middle, he has a clear feel for timing and barrel control. Plenty to project on and watch for as he progresses. Named to 2021 South Prospect Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
