Jake Benton is a 2022 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends John Burroughs. He has good frame with a slender build and is athletic. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.97 seconds. Primary outfielder that showed twitchy movements and attacks the baseball. He does a nice job of fielding the ball out front and utilizes a short arm action when making his throws. He has a quick arm that generates carry on his throws. Offensively, he was able to square up on multiple balls during the games. He does not create a lot of separation, so there is room for more power as he continues to get stronger and makes a couple of adjustments to his swing. He proved to be aggressive on the bases, taking extra bases and even stealing home during the game. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
