Liam Mongold is a 2028 OF/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Rouse. Medium, slender build. Ran a 7.49 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and infield drills. Solid intent to arm and good fundamentals. Good footwork and clean funnels. Has a good swivel and turn. First baseman, good accuracy and moved well to both sides. Solid arm on the run. Developing arm strength, worked through it well. Right-handed hitter, open stance and high hand set. Worked best to the opposite field and showed feel that way. More strength in store as he develops. Named to Top Prospect list.
