Mason Moore is a 2025 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Desert Ridge. Bigger athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall straight stance with a simple shift into contact, has an upper body rotational swing with some impact to the pull side, pretty direct path to contact, can get into his lower half more for additional bat speed, projects well as a hitter. 7.76 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, step by step actions, tends to wait back on balls, has solid arm strength across the diamond. Also worked out in the outfield with similar actions and tools. Took a turn on the mound, has tall and fall mechanics with limited lower half drive to the plate, short arm action from a low 3/4's arm slot, pretty low effort release. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some arm side life, did a good job of throwing strikes with his fastball. Mixed in both a slider and a change up, liked using the change up early in counts, tends to get under his slider. Good student.
