Tanner Legner is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Pontiac, IL who attends Pontiac. Recorded a 7.56 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame and athletic build with present strength. Primary shortstop with a clean funnel to the center of his body, longer arm action and release, recorded throws across at 74 mph. Developing quickness/agility, will improve as he shows more urgency to the actions, can make the routine plays. Right-handed hitter with a closed stance and an even hand and low back elbow set. Utilizes a toe tap trigger and has big movements in the swing with noisy hands, struggles to repeat the operation and be on time consistently. Tends to come out of his legs to swing, will improve as he stays grounded and makes contact with the ball out front. Good student.
