2023 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Tyler Powell is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Glen Carbon, IL who attends Edwardsville. Physical medium size frame. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a three pitch mix out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Compact delivery and consistently stayed on top of the stuff with a mid 80's fastball he utilizes early in counts. Slurvy breaking ball he shows developing feel for spinning efficiently and an upper 70's change up that he located well low in the zone. Physical power type pitcher with some stuff to continue to develop as a starter. Right handed hitter showed some strength in the swing with aggressive turns inward and a slight uphill bat path. Some barrel whip though the zone and enough bat to ball skills to drive the ball gap to gap. Named to National Indoor Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
