Jay Riddle is a 2024 RHP/ with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Florence, SC who attends Trinity Collegiate. Recorded an 8.72 in the 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher from the stretch only has a high coiling leg lift and drops the back leg as he rides it down the slope with a long arm action in the back and short strides to the plate. Riddle throws the fastball out of a high three-quarter arm slot topping 69 mph and mixes in a breaking ball with developing release point. Also taking groundballs in the infield showing off good versatility. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a narrow base, high hands, and swings from the backside with a long swing that is developing barrel control. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
