Dante Darnell is a 2025 RHP/2B, SS with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Aptos, CA who attends Monte Vista Christian. Primary right-handed pitcher with lean frame and athletic build. Recorded a 7.58 second 60-yard dash time. Full windup with high-belt lift and shorter arm swing to 3/4 slot delivery down the slope. Fastball up to 73 mph (1883 RPM) with sink and curveball with solid shape at 57 mph (2109 RPM). Flashed a changeup at 63 mph (1553 RPM) for a three-pitch mix. Secondary middle infielder with solid hands and developing footwork on the left side of the dirt. Throws across the diamond from a lower 3/4 arm slot at 74 mph. Corner actions as he adds size to his lean frame. Right-handed hitter with an even base and busy hands in the box. Toe-tap trigger with big hand movement into slot before launch. Controls the barrel with pre-pitch movement and linear bat path through the zone. Increased impact through the middle and pull side as he matures and adds strength. Excellent student with a 4.1 GPA.
