2022 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Kelvin Martinez is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Junipero Serra. Medium framed infielder that displayed proper glove technique and footwork that worked well in unison to generate strong throws across the diamond. At the dish, he sets up with open stance that works well into a small striding load. The bat path is lofted but is still developing the strength to really impact baseballs. There's glimpses of really quality bat speed and barrel control. 7.42 60-yard. Good student.
