KAIL Peña is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Caguas, Sel who attends Colegio Bautista de Caguas. Recorded a 6.53 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium build. Displayed good footwork and fundamentals in the infield. Got behind throws well, using a short arm action and clean release. Lots of athleticism and plenty of arm strength across, recording throws up to 83 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base, slightly open feet, and a high back elbow and hands. Employed a simple swing and a contact oriented approach. Swings with intent, created some whip and bat stays on a linear path through the zone. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
