Jake Ross is a 2025 OF/1B with a 5-7 148 lb. frame from Grand Prairie, TX who attends South Grand Prairie. From the outfield, Ross operated out of an athletic build and looked the part of a capable outfielder. He displayed smooth transitions from gather to release. Cleaning up his throwing mechanics and producing more momentum towards his target will create better throwing results. Offensively, Ross showed his ability to pull balls effectively with a simple and easily repeatable swing. Incorporating more of his body throughout his swing will produce better power potential in the future.
