Cord Brown is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Norman, OK who attends Mount Saint Mary. He has a good frame for his age with an athletic, muscular build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Primary outfielder that stays low through the fielding process and gets the ball off of his front foot. He showed clean fielding actions and transfers the ball well before delivering his throws on the hop. He does a nice job of working in line with his target which allows him to make accurate throws. Secondary left-handed pitcher that works from the third base side of the rubber. He utilizes a knee to chest leg kick and has a high effort delivery. He uses a long, circular arm action and works in line with the plate well. He pounds the zone with his fastball that features cutting action and works a 12-6 curveball with strong vertical break off of it. Left-handed hitter that starts in an even base with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a hover stride for timing and does a nice job of utilizing the strength in his legs. He stays short to the baseball and looks to hit the ball hard to the pull side. His slightly uphill swing path allows him to create nice carry on his line drives. He has fast, strong hands which allowed him to reach an exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
