Brandon Gomez is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Eastwood. Physical with athleticism. Primary right-handed pitcher who throws from a high 3/4 slot. Arm rears back and comes full circle with quick arm action. Stays in line well while using a slow leg raise to the plate. Drives down hard off his back leg and stays balanced. Fastball had late life and ride through the zone getting late swings on it. Filled up the zone and located well. Worked East to West well within the zone. Worked with good tempo. Electric arm talent. Mixed in a disgusting change with heavy fading action and drop. Flashed a curve with more 10-4 shape and some depth. Also flashed a slider with heavy sweep. Could locate all 4 pitches well while maintaining arm speed and slot. Also played outfield and fields it cleanly. Moves well for his size and gets good carry on his throws. Quick transfer and release. Right-handed hitter with a ton of power. Starts out slightly open with a narrow base. Rocks back and fires off the back side well with a small stride forward. Easy strength in the hands and all over. Rotates well at the top half of things producing plenty of bat speed. Can really impact the ball to his pull-side. Went yard in bp and really stood out in game action finding the barrel in every single one of his abs. Good student. Named to the 2023 South Top Prospects Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
