Easton Ahrens is a 2026 C/RHP, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Medina, MN who attends Orono. Smaller athletic frame. Versatile defender, primary catcher with a square set up, athletic mover behind the plate, clean exchange and arm action with true developing arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield showing some foot speed and footwork to the baseball, fields off to the side, carries momentum through the baseball and showed a crow hop with solid developing arm strength. Switch-hitter with toe tap timing at the plate, direct hand path to the baseball, with a clean level path through the zone, hands stay in side the baseball and rotates the back side in sync with the swing. Solid foundation of swing mechanics at the plate. Showed a three pitch mix on the mound. Feel for locating the mid 70's fastball, curve showed shorter depth and worked as a change of pace pitch. Developing feel for the change up. Lot of tools to develop over time here. Named to Minnesota Indoor top prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
