Will Stapleton is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Southside, AL who attends Southside. Medium frame with good projection and some current wiry strength. Plenty of time to add to frame and musculature. Ran the 60 yard dash in a very respectable 7.06 seconds. Primary position OF, moving to the ball well and getting the glove down early. Emerging feel and accuracy with the leather using two hand gather to midline transfer. Looses momentum before he gets to release and uses 3/4 arm angle to produce throws up to 74 mph back to bags. Throws got better and more accurate throughout the round. RHH starting from a wider and even base with a slightly turned in front side. Good handset to start but does get the barrel wrapped a bit before getting in the slot. Rotational operation as he sits on his backside but when he stays through the middle showed his best impact. Emerging barrel control. Will start to launch some once he learns to stay on plane to the pull side. Very advanced student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
