Owen Harrell is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Fort Meade, FL who attends Fort Meade Middle. Young athletic build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has confident actions to the ball and good body control, fields the ball cleanly out front, easy arm action with some young carry, solid overall actions for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a big leg raise trigger, gets to his front side well, gets separation in his swing and created good back spin and carry, worked gap to gap. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4's arm action with simple and repeatable mechanics. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with occasional arm side life. Curveball was a good pitch for him with 12/6 downer break, landed his curveball well for strikes. Flashed a fading change up. Has good fundamentals and skills in all areas for a freshman and its just a matter of getting stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
