Issander Vega is a 2022 OF with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends El Shaddai Private. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with good balance to start his swing, big and deep leg lift/coil can impact his timing and create inconsistency, has fast hands and creates good bat speed, some whip out front when he gets extended, loose and athletic swing that will continue to develop with some timing adjustments and additional strength. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Attacks the ball well in the outfield and funnels it well out front, very quick exchange and release with a compact arm action. Good student.
