Bobby Amare Morgan is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Redford, MI who attends Lee M. Thurston. Tall and lean frame with strength remaining to be added. Ran a 7.43 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop, plays low while fielding out in front. Quick feet and shows some athleticism. Plays stiff at times and could improve flexibility in hips. Clocked at 76mph from across the field. Secondary right-handed pitcher, uses a full wind-up, long side-rocker step into a belt-high leg lift, uses whole frame to land far down the mound. Late-breaking hands, allowing body to get ahead of arm. Fastball was up to 72mph, ranged from 67-72 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance with a long stride. Hands stand inside the ball and create a good amount of barrel whip. The addition of strength will help with carry on the ball. Middle of the field approach. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
