Brady Smith is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pensacola Catholic. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.76 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, medium length arm action through the backside working to a three-quarters release, shortens through release, deliberate tempo with an extra step into release, works around the bag, occasionally gets uphill with release. Also pitched, leg lift up to waist, lands on line coming down the mound and works quickly; gets to a mid three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, creates running life to both sides of the plate. Changeup proved to be a go-to pitch, collected swings and misses with fading life up to 68 mph with very low spin rates, comfort throwing the pitch. Left-handed hitter, begins with a medium hand set and loads hands back at start of swing, utilizes an inward toe tap for timing in the box. Gets closed moving into contact, shorter stroke through the zone and finish, keeps hands tight, showed ability to impact the ball to the opposite field gap. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
