Joseph Leo is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Works from a larger frame with some present strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, slightly coiled leg lift into balance, shorter stride out to foot strike, repeatable operation, shorter arm stroke with some funk to it, present quickness to the hand, filled up all parts of the zone with the fastball, topped it out at 73 mph. Flashed a slower looping breaking ball with some vertical depth, mixes it well. Secondary first baseman, clean glove actions and turns, has good lateral range, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 68 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with high and tight hands, hover trigger, quick turn to the point of contact, gets handsy at times, drifts forward slightly prior to launch, produced liners to the middle of the field when timed-up, projects for more power with added strength, recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran an 8.34 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
