Tyler Duffy is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Meriden, CT who attends Francis T. Maloney. Works from a physical medium frame with upside. Primary left-handed pitcher, displayed a balanced operation, sinks into the lower-half well, generates good push-off with the back-side, belt-high leg lift, releases from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball showed sinking action, missed several barrels, topped out at 84 mph. Landed vertical breaker for swings and misses, had good depth to it. Secondary outfielder, attacks the ball well, releases it with urgency, present arm strength and athleticism, pulls down well, recorded arm strength up to 87 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider slightly open base, lower hand set, high back elbow, toe-tap trigger, loose hands, good strength at impact, and recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Advanced runner. Ran a 6.74 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
