Dustin Dunwoody is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Royal. Slender young athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise delivery, hides the ball well in his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with plenty more there as he physically matures, created both hard running life and cutting action at different times, movement was very effective. Curveball was a solid second pitch with nice spin and depth. Also developing a change up. 7.81 runner in the sixty. Plays first base and outfield when not on the mound, profiles as a secondary first baseman moving forward. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a hanging front leg load, tends to stay on his back side, long and extended swing, works the middle of the field and flashes some strength when squared up. Interesting young arm to follow. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
