Andrew Farriss is a 2025 SS/RHP, IF, OF, UT with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Cypress Creek. A lean build and compact frame. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who fielded the ball with two hands out front and threw from a higher slot. He had deliberate steps to it, with a longer release, getting the throws out at 77 mph. Throws were accurate across the diamond, and made the outs at first base. A switch-hitter. As a right-handed hitter with lower-set hands that get straight back before the swing. As a left-handed hitter it's a an even more spread and open stance. He was able to work the other way for an opposite-field approach. Excellent student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
