Diego Washington is a 2024 OF/2B/SS with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Horn. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.97 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic movements and moves around the position well, comes through it with good energy and intent, fields off side and funnels into throws well with an accurate arm. Also worked out in the infield, easy actions, fields it clean out front, adjusted slot when necessary. Righthanded hitter, has some quickness to the hands on a level path, direct and contact-oriented approach, athletic process and able to spray the field with line drive impact. Great student.
